I nearly died from regret. Allowing myself to buckle under the weight of regret, refusing to forgive myself all the wasted years of staying too long in a bad marriage. It wasn’t until I began to slowly and cautiously start inching my way toward forgiving myself and saying that “My life is my life”…that I was finally able to let go of the regret. Believing that it’s our choices and experiences, the good , the bad and the ugly that form us and help make us who were are.
