Sometimes, before you can START something, you have to STOP something else first, that might otherwise hinder you. This is the season where many people use the newness of the year to make promises, resolutions, commitments and good habits.
I fumbled across this article last year that was written by Marc of the Marc and Angel Hack Life blog and it was entitled 30 Things To Stop Doing To Yourself. Sound intriguing? It is.
The article details 30 things that will force you to thoroughly look within and take inventory of what’s good for you and what you need to STOP doing. The steps are practical and common sense, but as Voltaire, a French philosopher once said, “Common sense is not so common.”
From lying to yourself to holding onto the past to worrying too much, this article tells you to stop. I challenge you to read the article, print it out, put it somewhere visible to remind yourself daily to STOP. So, then you can START.

I’m happy that you like the list and will share with others. It was too good for me not to share here 🙂

Thanks for sharing. I’m semi-obsessed with lists- especially those that better me. I will probably have to digest this one 10 items at a time!

I hope it prompts you to make your own list. And better me by about 20.
